Shaped Sweet Pea Card

Hello Everyone, Here is a little Tilda card that I put together yesterday!

I've been enjoying the sunshine here and really looking forward to my hols in a month, where has the time gone, I cant believe that its June tomorrow!

I have had a great week, getting familiar with the fashionista DT pages and I also won a Top 5 place, in Sherri's Besties Challenge Blog too!!! I will also be posting my first ever DT blog card soon!

Onto this card, the Image is sweet pea Tilda and I have stamped her with Rich Mocha Memento Ink. And as everyone knows, the oval is a spellbinders frame. I have distressed and frantaged the edges, then glittered over the frantage with a little stickles, as the colours are quite muted and thought it might add that little extra sparkle.

All the papers are Maja Spring Basics Papers and all the flowers are from Hobby house, I cant get enough of their, cherry blossoms, they are perfect for a lot of the DI's. The Ribbon is from the ribbon girl, I just adore this ribbon, it makes superb bows, I re ordered  some more just yesterday and a heap of  other goodies that I just couldn't resist.

I have also added, a so wrapped up doohickey, which I think is becoming a bit of trademark of mine hee hee! I think the sentiment is perfect for the image and added a selection of lacy leaves in different shades & patterns and one of my handmade sparkly pins too! (another trademark)

I coloured her with a mix of promarkers and prisma pencils and I love my new frame that arrived a couple of days ago!

I hope that you have a great weekend and fingers crossed the sunshine.
Take care

Bestie Princess Card and Some News

Frantaged Princess Wording, Crown And Metal Corner Embellishments.
I Have Also Added Liquid Pearls To The Princess Crown Charm, To Create Pearls In Each Point!

Good day all and welcome to my blog.
I have fallen in love with these cute Besties from Sherri Baldy, I just cant resist those lovely big eyes and they are all sooo cute! Every time I buy another one, I find myself Aaw how cute!!!

Onto some news, I have been trying to create different cards lately and it must be working as I have been asked to be a member of the design team for the Fashionista Challenge by the lovely Rina!!
I am super excited and will be posting my first card with them at the end of the month, so pop over and take a look!

Well for this card, I have used this cute Princess & The Pea type of image. I've also used two magnolia tilde papers and one paper from my personal stash of papers, of course I used colour core too.  I also cut in half an on the edge butterfly border and covered them with the remaining paper off cuts.

I have frantaged the image and two metal corners and added liquid pearls to the crown and got a dot on the edge too hee hee! I also die cut the lovely princess wording and crown and frantaged them too, frantage is so versatile and  is soo addictive!

I have created a little birthday banner and run it across the ribbon threaded cluny lace from Live and Love Crafts, all the floral are from them too and also the ribbon girl and The hobby house. Finally, I die cut some Loreli Leaves with A Memory Box Die, which are really different and add a pretty touch.

Thank you for dropping by and I would love to hear your comments.
Take Care And Have A Great Day!

Masked Magnolia Tilda, Second Post Of The Day!

Hello Again My Lovely Friends.

Here is my second post for the day.

I have masked magnolia onto the lovely Tilda Dandelion Background, the image is coloured with prisma pencils and copics, I have just bought the background and thought this lovely 'Tilda dancing with stars' image, fluttering about in the flowers fits the background perfectly, I mean, who doesn't like a fairy?

The papers are Maja Spring Basics papers and Colour Core Card, no shock there hee hee! I have also used another paper border around the blue floral paper and punched it with a Martha Stewart Punch, with 2 little die cut and distressed tiny tags, peeking out from the side.

The florals are again from the ribbon girl and live and love crafts, I have frantaged the little heart which is from L&L Crafts and the toadstool charm is from the ribbon girl.(links in my side bar)

I've frantaged the backing paper, behind the image, die cut and assembled the bunting and stitched a lovely big organza and satin bow.

I hope you like it and thank you for dropping by.
Take care and big hugs.

Saturated Canary Harvest Princess

Hello Everyone, I haven't been about for a while as I have been quite poorly, I had flu and also larangitis (which I am sure my hubby was secretly happy about, although denied it! Hee Hee!).

Anyway I'm all better now, so I have made a couple of cards to celebrate lol!

This is my first one and I think this Saturated Canary" Harvest Princess" Image is just so pretty ( as all Krista's Images Are) and this one has a lovely earthy feel to it. The image is coloured with prisma pencils using LOS Technique and Promarkers for the skin.

So I used some maja paper (green) and a floral cream glittered paper, I love colour core card, so of course used some of that too, I just love the linen textured feel and it distresses perfectly, with a little light sanding.

The sentiment stamped Tilda Doohickey, which I bought from ebay goes fab with this image and I have wrapped the 'So Wrapped Up' Tilda Doohickey with shabby seam binding, pearl string, a tiny apple charm and tiny pom poms, how cute are the pom poms?

Now, the Kort & Godt rolled paper roses and stunning organza ribbon are from the ribbon girl, who generously gave me a £10 gift voucher, as I won the beginner section in Marvellous Magnolia's Challenge for the card below! Which I was thrilled about Hee Hee!!! The Apples, Apple Charm and Bark Heart Are all from Live and Love Crafts. (All links in my side bar, for online stores)

As I am now totally addicted to frantage, I have frantaged the image and bark heart and added a few of the colour fragments from the same range.

Well, I had better get onto the second post for today.

I hope that you like this card, I would love to hear some comments.
Thanks for popping by my blog.

Something Different For Me!!!

Hello Everyone, Oh my goodness, we have had two days of glorious sunshine, clear blue skies and lots of gardening!! (I've nearly finished the tidy up)

I was feeling like my cards where getting a bit samey, so I set myself a challenge. I wasnt going to use all of the usual things that I usually do, so no large roses, hand made hat pins etc. With one exception, the so wrapped up heart doohickey, which I love to use on cards, so allowed myself one little slip hee hee. I think that each crafter has their own style, so I wanted to do something different.

So here is the card that I created using different materials, all from Live and Love Crafts, I have also frantaged the image and the bark heart and added some fragments too. This is the first thing that I have ever frantaged and I am in love with it now. The lovely ladies at L&L Crafts, have such a wonderful selection of goodies and unusual items that I cant keep my eyes off their site hee hee!

So I used Maja Vintage Summer Basics Papers (papers? more like card!), Kort and Godt Rolled Paper Roses, Glass Pebbles and brown lace across the middle of the card. I die cut some butterflies and lacey leaves  from the left over from the two papers. I used build a brad for the central embellishment on the base layer and used the left over paper to punch the middle section, so nothing went to waste. I have coloured tilda with prisma pencils, she is from the valentines collection, from earlier this year. I will check on her name and add it to the blog later.

I have also threaded the doohickey with brown lace, shabby seam binding and pearl strings, with a heart charm. The daisy lace across the base layer is from my own goodies, with pearls in the center of each one.

I would love to hear your comments and I hope that you like my card.
Take care
