My mothers day, hand made box, decoupaged tea light holder and card.

Hello everyone,

I hope that you are all well.

I made these for my mum for mothers day and we had a lovely family meal together.

Here they are, the pictures of the card are a little light, but I have taken another photo, out of the sunlight, as the glitter card is super sparkly.

The card is constructed from white pearlised card, which I embossed and glitter card, for the leaves and frames.
I also built up the frame to 4 layers so it was more prominent and added 2 embossed frames in pink and white behind the main frame, and off set them slightly to add colour and dimension. As the card is actually more pink in reality.

This is the clearer photo of the card, needless to say mum loved it. She is very girly, even in her 60s and loves bling and ribbons etc

I made the box from my dooba do template and decoupaged it with roses and the orange glow that you can see, is the tea light lit up. It glows lovely in the dark he he!
I decoupaged the holder from a napkin, glittered the inside and added to the pearls and lace and I also added a battery operated candle, for safety.

It was my 1st go at the tea light and I am really happy with the result for all 3 items.

I hope that you all had a lovely mothers day, last Sunday. I recieved 2 orchids from my husband and daughter and lots of other goodies!

Have a lovely day.

Easel Wedding Card

Hello Everyone

I hope that you are all happy and well.

Here is a card that I made recently.

I absolutely adore these very ornate dies. I used star dream pealised card stock and Maja design papers as the dps for my card.

I have used lots of WOC florals and another swirly die for my design. As well as lots of pearls, lace leaves and of course the scrapinec Wedding Day element.

Have a lovely day, Crafty Cuddles Jay xx

Mr & Mrs Magnolia Tilda Card

Hello Everyone,

I hope that you are all well.

Just popping on to show my Magnolia Tilda card.

I know its not really full wedding season yet, but I havent made
a coloured card for a while and fancied doing one!

No self respecting crafter needs any more reason to craft he he!

So here is my card:

I have coloured up Tilda and Edwin with copics and have added a few magnolia die cuts, the love birds on the left, leaves at the bottom and heart and tag die cuts on the right.
The heart border at the top of my card is from la la land.

My own hand made  pin

I have used Mr & Mrs, which if memory serves me right, was from last year.
All my florals are from WOC and my paper is roses from lemon craft.

Many thanks for stopping by today and have a lovely weekend.

Shabby Chic Wreath with hand made flowers

Hello Everyone,

I hope that you are all well and not missing Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia Challenge too much!

Just popping on to show you my shabby chic wreath that I have made for my bedroom.

I originally intended to make a Christmas wreath, but then changed  my mind, as some of you already know I make fabric flowers and the two on this wreath, I really didnt want to sell in my Etsy shop.
I have seen wreaths like these over the years and thought that I would give it a go.

I mainly wanted to keep it neutral colours, with just a hint of pink.

It was actually a bit more tricky than I anticipated, but I am pleased with the end result.

Thanks for stopping by today, have a pleasant week.

Vintage Bauble, Card/Bag Topper or Gift Tag

Happy Sunday Everyone

I have seen these style of toppers around for many
years and decided to try my hand at making a few.

This is my first completed one and I have another few, which are part done, which I will pop back with when they are finished.

I am quite pleased with how it tuned out.

They are pretty simple to do, I die my circles to 10cm, from 4 layers of thick white card.

10cm is a good size for a variety of uses, i.e. card or gift bag topper, gift tag or simply a bauble for Christmas.

I wrapped the natural hemp twine to give me a frame and die cut lots of lovely wintery leaves from my DPs, the scrapinec baubles are also tied with the same twine.

The cones have been dry brushed with gesso and I made the poinsettia's from foamiran, the wooden Merry Christmas is from my crafty stash.

I wanted to bring out the green in the colour scheme, so added the seam binding bow.

There is also a little rusty bell at the top of the baubles and there are several dabs of gold glitter glue to add a little Christmas sparkle.

Today is our last challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia, we would love you to pop over and join in and you have a chance to win a voucher from lovely Tracy at Noor Design UK!!!

Have a lovely day, Crafty Cuddles
